A quick way to spice up things in an outdated kitchen is to buy new handles, knob, pulls or hinges for your kitchen cupboards. New kitchen knobs, pulls or handles can be installed quickly and easily for as little as $5 for a set of 3 pulls with screws. Pulls and knobs are typically secured to a cupboard by one screw; whereas handles commonly have two screws. All you need do is loosen the screws on the old cupboard knobs, remove them and replace and tighten the new cupboard knobs. Hinges are also a great compliment to new cupboard knobs or handles. Cupboard hinges can be found in antique, Victorian and novelty designs. Cupboard hinges start at about $4 online per hinge or $8 for a pack or 2 hinges and screws.
