Dish racks are meant to sit alongside, or inside of, your sink to air dry dishes after they've been washed. Dish racks are available in plastic, stainless steel and wooden designs. Plastic is often the preferred material for dish racks because it can be wiped clean and even washed in the sink when dirty. Plastic dish racks also don't deteriorate like wooden dish racks and they won't chip or scratch dishes like having contact with a stainless steel dish rack might do.
