The space you have will dictate the type of fitness equipment you will have room for. You can purchase weights, dumbbells, barbells, benches and workout machines for weight training. Rowing machines, heavy bags, speed bags, rope skipping, medicine balls, stationary bikes and treadmills, etc., are also suitable for home use. You can also decorate your fitness area with inspirational posters, athletes or hook up a stereo system or TV to make it a more enjoyable work out area.
