When children grow up they usually have fond memories of their childhood bedrooms. Children's rooms are usually decorated in an 'anything goes' manner as the room is meant to be fun. Little boy's rooms are often decorated using blue; while little girl's rooms are often pink. The good thing about a child's bedroom is that you can change it as the child grows. Children often like to sleep in sleigh beds, bunk beds or mate's beds with storage drawers built into the frame. Bed linens also come in many themes and colors. Plus what kid doesn't love sleeping on a teddy bear or Star Wars pillow. The walls can be decorated in an endless colors and themes including animals, teddy bears, trains, planes, cars, boats, spaceships, cartoon characters, sports figures, dolls, stars, rainbows, a sun and moon motif, etc. Don't forget to utilize the ceiling by hanging mobiles or sticking glow in the dark stars on it. Once you know where your child's interests lie it will be easy to decorate their room.
