Pocket Doors
Pocket doors are real space-savers. They take up little space because they retract into a pocket opening into a wall. Pocket doors allow the door to be opened and hidden within the wall without taking up any floor space, but the door can be easily slid out to make a room more intimate. Pocket doors are fantastic home décor for kitchen/dining room combinations because they can be open when preparing and setting the table and closed for entertaining. Pocket doors are most typically built from wood but some have beautiful stained-glass inserts that add an elegant touch to entertainment rooms.
