Glass Doors
Glass doors offer a panoramic view like no other. Glass doors are available in swinging and sliding designs. Sliding glass patio doors are most commonly seen leading to decks and patios. Glass patio door panels slide on a series of rollers into slats allowing access in and outdoors. In the past, homeowners had to sacrifice insulation for a good view, but glass patio doors are now made with 2 glass inserts and one screen slider for added insulation. Swinging glass doors often add an extra level of security and insulation to front entry ways. Located on the outer side of a solid entry door, glass doors trap an extra layer of insulated air and allow residents to view visitors without making the home accessible. Many swinging glass doors have a removable panel that slides up or out for fresh air.
