Spas

Spas, also commonly known as hot tubs, are basically larger versions of whirlpool tubs. You sit in them and hydrotherapy water jets propel streams of hot water at you for a massaging effect. Most of them work on pumps and motors. Spas come in various sizes and shapes and are built to hold numerous people. Most of them have areas to sit in around the sides and in the corners. They may also have arm rests and even drink holders. Spas are fairly large and hold a few hundred gallons of water. The water needs to be treated with chemicals such as chlorine to keep it bacteria free. Tub shells may come in different materials with acrylic being one of the most popular. The outer cabinets are usually covered in wood and the spa itself should come with a cover. Many people install spas outdoors, but they are just as effective indoors as well. Spas are also common attachments to swimming pools. Spas usually start at around $2000 online.
